The Batmobile from Batman Returns (1992), made as a LEGO set for the first time. The model is 45 cm long and sits on its own base.
A button releases the side panels. Underneath sits the Batmissile, the narrow vehicle Batman uses to escape down a tight alley in the film. A lift-arm mechanism does the work, so you can display the model as the Batmobile or as the Batmissile.
There is a jet turbine at the rear, and the canopy opens over a detailed cockpit. LEGO mentions six hidden references to the film in the model, including the tracking device The Penguin leaves on the car. Three new elements were made for this set, among them a new Batman cowl.
