Recommended Retail Price (RRP)

RRP stands for Recommended Retail Price. On Lakea that is the regular price of a set on LEGO.com, without any discount. When LEGO itself sells a set cheaper for a while, the struck-through price remains the RRP. Shops are not bound to it: they may go below or above.

Why Lakea shows the RRP

The RRP is the reference against which we measure every shop price. If a set has an RRP of €99.99 and a shop offers it for €74.99, that is a 25% discount. Without that reference you cannot judge whether an offer is good.

Country differences

LEGO sets its own RRP per country and currency. Lakea always shows the RRP for your country and never converts an amount from another country: a converted RRP is not an RRP.

Sets LEGO no longer sells

When LEGO no longer sells a set, the last known RRP stays as the reference. So even for such a set you can see whether a shop price is below or above the original amount.
