LEGO Architecture

The LEGO Architecture line was introduced in 2008 by architect-fan Adam Reed Tucker. It features miniature LEGO models of world-famous buildings and city skylines, designed with focus on accurate proportions — not for play, purely for display.

Two subcategories

  • Landmark Buildings: single iconic buildings — Empire State Building, Burj Khalifa, Eiffel Tower, Sagrada Família, Great Pyramid
  • Skylines: city silhouettes with multiple recognisable buildings on one base — New York, Tokyo, Las Vegas, Berlin, London

Style characteristics

  • Monochrome or near-monochrome colour scheme (often white, beige, grey)
  • No minifigs — not for play
  • Detailed info booklet about the architect and history
  • Generally 18+
  • Shorter build time than other display themes (3-6 hours)

Who for?

Adult LEGO fans who want display pieces, people honouring the architecture of a specific city, or gift for architecture lovers.
