Cheese slope
The cheese slope is a 1×1 sloped part with a 30° angle and a height of 2/3 plates. Officially called "Slope 30 1×1×2/3" (design 54200), but nobody says that. The nickname comes from how the thing literally looks like a triangular cheese wedge.
Why AFOLs love them
- Slopes: roofs, terrain edges, organic hills
- SNOT detail: studs mounted sideways give smooth, non-rectangular facets
- Speed Champions scale: car themes use cheese slopes as bumpers, hoods, spoilers
- Mosaics: at 8×8mm each you can build gradients with colour nuances
Available colours
Cheese slopes come in over 50 LEGO colours — one of the widest palettes of any part. That makes them popular for mosaic MOCs and façades.
