What's inside

The set includes Fox Mulder, Dana Scully, Walter Skinner, Mr. X, Alex Krycek, Carl Busch, The Flukeman and a grey alien. Between them, they cover the series' main characters and antagonists.

References to the show

The model is packed with nods to the series: a "The Truth is Out There" tile, an "I Want to Believe" poster, an X-Files dossier and pencils in the ceiling of Mulder's office. A nod to his sunflower seed habit is in there too.

Gillian Anderson returns as Scully

Gillian Anderson returns as Dana Scully for a mini-film built around the set. "This set is a wonderful celebration of the X-Files," says Anderson.

The design comes from Brent Waller (LEGO® Ideas name: wetwired), a 3D artist based in Brisbane. He first built Mulder's office in 2014, later developing it into a submission for the LEGO® Ideas '90s Nostalgia Challenge.
