That set has 359 pieces. The blue Godzilla logo stands in front of a skyline, with Mothra on top of one of the buildings. The separate footprint is exactly the size of the big model’s foot.

Over 70 cm tall

With the Heat Ray raised, Godzilla stands over 70 cm tall. The model is 27 cm wide and 40 cm long. A minifigure only reaches his ankle.

Head, arms, legs and tail all move. Shoulders, elbows, wrists and fingers adjust too, so you can set him in any pose. In the mouth you swap the tongue for a blue Heat Ray element.

From fan design to set

The design comes from Matthew Esposito from New York, known on LEGO® Ideas as MattE720. His project took more than two years to reach 10,000 votes. The LEGO® Ideas Review Board then approved it. According to Esposito, the head was the hardest part to get right.
