LEGO® announced the LEGO® DC Batman™: Batman Returns™ Batmobile™ (76355) on 18 August 2026. 2,269 pieces, RRP £189.99. It is the first time the Batmobile™ from the 1992 film has been made as a LEGO® set.

The Batmissile™ is inside

In the film the Batmobile™ splits itself apart. The flanks fall away and what is left is a narrow vehicle Batman™ uses to escape down a tight alley. That scene is in the set. You press a button, the side panels release and the Batmissile™ is what remains. A lift-arm mechanism does the work. According to LEGO®, this is the first LEGO® Batmobile™ with that function.

So you can display the model two ways: as the Batmobile™ or as the Batmissile™.

What else is in it

The model is one long, low shape with a round air intake at the front and fins at the back. The canopy over the cockpit opens. According to LEGO®, six references to the film are hidden in it, including the tracking device The Penguin™ leaves on the car.

Three new LEGO® elements were made for this set, including a new Batman™ cowl. The exclusive Batman™ minifigure has a newly moulded cape and stands on its own stand carrying the Batman Returns™ logo.

Size

The model measures 45 cm long, 17 cm wide and 10 cm high. That makes it longer than a sheet of A3, and it only fits a normal bookshelf lying down.
